For a lot of people, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It improves your energy levels, jumpstarts your metabolism and gives your body the essential nutrients it needs. On weekdays, my breakfast often consists of a piece of bread, eggs and a cup of coffee.
But on weekends, I prefer a leisurely breakfast filled with all my favorite food. And this is why I go to Golden Corral on Saturday mornings at least once a month.

When Does Golden Coral Stop Serving Breakfast
Most Golden Corral locations will start serving breakfast between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM, usually on weekends only. You may be able to find a handful of locations that serve breakfast every day of the week especially in very busy locations or in areas with a high density population. The restaurant chain stops serving breakfast at 11:00 AM, as this is when they will start their lunch buffet. Golden Correl also offers catering services for their customers.
Is Golden Corral’s Breakfast Buffet Worth It?
As a regular breakfast buffet customer of Golden Corral I may be a biased here. So let me share some customer reviews I found online in regards to their breakfast buffet experience in Golden Corral:
Charlotte, North Carolina
I have eaten at The Golden Corral often for their Breakfast Buffet.
This is an excellent place to go for an “all-you-can-eat” buffet style restaurant, which comes in VERY handy for those of us singles who feel that we have not been eating correctly. Now only do they has the standard breakfast fare (scrambled eggs, bacon, hash brown, they will make a custon-ordered omelet), but they have a good fruit and salad bar. So, one can eat very healthily here. Plus they have free juices, They have green chiles which you can add to your eggs and/or hash browns, as well as very healthy pico de gallo. I just have two complaints: 1) I think they fry their hash browns in butter, which is not healthy, and 2) They cook this very thich “Western-style” toast, which is also not very healthy. Also they have soft serve ice cream, carrot cake, etc. for dessert.

My breakfast
My fellow travelers, this morning I had breakfast at the golden corral, and all I can say is, they need to make sure children do not get there breakfast by themselves, people were not watching there children and they were getting food and sometimes putting it back. I will definitely won’t be going back.
Newmarket, Canada
As expected, but cleaner!
We ate here twice, brunch one day and another day dinner at Golden Correl. Typical Golden Coral food, exactly as we expected although we were impressed with how clean and organized they kept this very busy location. We never had to wait in line, although at the breakfast they kept running out of popular items like bacon and they took a while to be refilled. Once refilled, people would take so much at once it would be empty again in seconds. Clean spacious bathrooms, cheery people clearing tables, lots of parking and just what we needed.
Another user from Texas gave his description of a pleasant experience at a local Golden Corral, describing it as being a clean and well-organized buffet with friendly staff. The reviewer noted that drinks such as milk and juice are included in the bill and had endless refills, alongside an impressive and delicious line-up of food.
Breakfast Buffet
Great prices. Clean Breakfast Buffett , and the waitress was really good Food was fresh and the eating area was really clean as well.
